IMAGING UNIT, EXTERNAL PROCESSOR, CONTROL PROGRAM FOR IMAGING UNIT, AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR EXTERNAL PROCESSOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically attain optimum direct signal processing to the connection between an imaging unit and an external processor of different types to eliminate operation mistakes and complicated operations by an operator.

SOLUTION: The imaging unit includes a processing control means that discriminates whether control relation between the imaging unit and the external processor is a first type wherein a memory in the imaging unit is accessed directly from the external processor, or a second type wherein processing in the external processor can be controlled by the controller of the imaging unit in initial communication when the imaging unit is connected to the external processor, and changes a processing procedure for processing an image in the imaging unit by the external processor based on the result of the discrimination.
