<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum setting apparatus and method thereof for setting spectral data representing the spectral level of every fundamental wave and harmonic component from a spectral envelope being set in an optional shape. <P>SOLUTION: The spectral data is generated by drawing, between a starting point and an end point specified in a drawing area DE of a spectrum generation picture SSG, using a linear or curved spectral envelope, and extracting each spectral level of every fundamental wave and harmonic component from the drawn spectrum envelope. Consequently, the spectral data representing the spectral level of every fundamental wave and harmonic component can be set from the spectrum envelope being set in the optional shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
