TREATMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ORGANIC WASTES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and apparatus for organic wastes capable of processing volume reduction in a short time by crushing/grinding even massive and hard organic wastes into pieces and enhancing fermentation and decomposition by microorganisms while a tub body is transported. SOLUTION: A transport means 2 transporting organic wastes is arranged at nearby bottom part of a tub body 1 containing the organic wastes in which a throwing body 5 of organic wastes b is arranged at the upper part. A take-in means 3 supplying external air into the tub body at a proper position of the tub body and an exhaust means 4 enhancing internal air of the tub body to outside at a proper position of the tub body. The transport means 2 is a screw conveyor in which feed blades 12 are arranged in a specified pitch around a rotation shaft 11 and the feed blades 12 are arranged at nearby from one side of a tub wall 1b to the other side of a tub wall 1c in the tub body and a gap 13 intervening the organic wastes between a peripheral edge of the feed blades and the tub wall of the tub body is formed.
