PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of generating a shielded image that can interrupt electromagnetic waves and prevent reflected light, and to provide an image carrier using the method. SOLUTION: In the method of generating shielded images, the shielded image composed of segments having line widths t of 2-100μm and thicknesses of 0.5-50μm is formed directly on the surface of an image to be shielded or a film sheet-like member, stuck to the surface by physical or electrical method using a conductive or magnetic powder having a mean particle size of 0.05-10μm or powder containing the conductive or magnetic powder. In addition, the ratio of contact between the powder is increased by pressurizing the surface of the image to be shielded. The image carrier carries the shielded image generated by the method.
