PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module constituted so that a hollow fiber membrane is not damaged by local load. SOLUTION: This hollow fiber membrane module is manufactured by fixing adhesively by using a resin 20 both ends of a bundle 2 of the hollow fiber membranes inserted into a cylindrical case 1, arranging flow straightening cylinders 7a, 7b on the inner wall of the case 1 on the insides of the adhesively fixed parts at both ends of the bundle 2, forming circular flow passages 8a, 8b around the outer peripheries of the cylinders 7a, 7b and arranging an original water supplying port 11 on one of the passages 8a, 8b and an outfall 10 on the other. The space of the outfall 10-arranged passage 8a in the radial direction is maximized in the vicinity of the outfall 10 and/or a flow straightening hole 9 of the outfall 10-arranged cylinder 7a is not formed at the portion to be faced to the outfall 10.
