Light source for scanning microscope using combined light from two laser sources with adjustment of wavelength difference between laser light beams

The light source (10) has 2 lasers (4,6), e.g. 2 synchronized short pulse lasers, providing respective light beams, which are fed to an optical combining device (24), inserted in each beam path (4a,6a), with an adjustable deflection device (22) positioned in one beam path ahead of the optical combining device, for determining the wavelength difference between the 2 light beams. An Independent claim for a scanning microscope system is also included.
