<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food dusting apparatus for efficientfly dusting the surface of a food with powder in spite of a compact size installable in a narrow space. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of brushes 3 are attached in a row to an endless transporting means 2 along the transporting direction of foods F arranged on a belt 10 of a conveyor 1. A plurality of fixed members 5 are erected on a frame between the belt 10 and the brush row 3. When the brush 3 is transported by the endless transporting means 2, the bristles 31 planted on the brush 3 are brought into contact with the fixed member 5, bent and snapped back. Powder is applied to the brush 3 and scattered against the food F taking advantage of the snap-back motion of the bristle 31 to uniformly dust the surface of the food. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
