<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface program management system which can manage the maintenance information, such as program information and history information, of an interface program about a printer connected onto a network. <P>SOLUTION: This interface program management system comprises the printer which is equipped with a transmission/reception part for transmitting/receiving data to/from the interface program, an information manipulation part for manipulating printer information in accordance with an operation instruction from the interface program by using the transmission/reception part, a printing control part for controlling printing when a printing instruction is provided from an application in a personal computer, an information acquisition part for acquiring the maintenance information of the interface program in each of the personal computers by using the transmission/reception part, and a storage management part for storing and managing the maintenance information of the acquired interface program.
