PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method by an inkjet recording method which can record characters excellent in quality and a high-definition image on any recording material without causing color mixing and without causing wrinkles or curling of printed matter; printed matter obtained thereby; and a recording device therefor.

SOLUTION: In this image formation method, ink curable by active light is delivered onto a recording material with a recording head having at least one nozzle capable of selectively controlling the delivery of ink drops, provided that the ink contains a photoinduced acid generator and a moisture scavenger.
