<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-action fastening implement which is useful in the medical field including nursing activities and emergency services requiring quick responses, where it can reduce the burden and time in fastening medical equipment to a stand pole, or the like, and in the welfare field as well, where it can help even the aged or physically challenging people having inconvenience in the hand fasten the equipment, or the like, with ease. <P>SOLUTION: This one-action fastening implement includes a fastening implement body 1 which is provided with a base part 1a, a contact part 1b integrally bonded with and opposed to the base part, a support hole 1c formed on the base part in opposition to the contact part, and a female screw 1d made concentric with the support hole on the base part; a handle stem 2 which runs through the support hole 1c in a way that it can make a back-and-forth or rotational movement within the hole 1c; a split male screw member 3 which can be engaged with the female screw 1d; a handle 4 which is rotatably connected with the handle stem 2; and a cam mechanism 5 which fastens the handle 4 toward the handle stem 2 in a way that, after allowing the split male screw member 3 to screw down to expand its diameter, the cam mechanism makes the split male screw member 3 rotate in the reverse direction to reduce its diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
