<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary handrail for a toilet, freely used as right-hand or left-hand models, not requiring remodeling of the toilet and large-scale installation work, and replaceable according to the physical function and the state of physical handicap. <P>SOLUTION: This auxiliary handrail 1 for a toilet is attached to an assisting device 2 for a toilet installed in the periphery of a toilet bowl 6. The handrail is composed of a handrail body 4 extended from both ends of a handrail part 21 substantially in the vertical direction between a pair of support rods 19, 20 and a fitting plate 5. The handrail body 4 is assembled to the assisting device 2 for a toilet through the fitting plate 5 connected to one support rod 19, the other support rod 20 is grounded to the toilet floor surface 11, and the handrail part 21 supported by both support rods 19, 20 is put in a higher position than the highest position of the assisting device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
