PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate variations in actuation resistance values caused by diameters of a piston and a cylinder, while reducing an influence of a stabilizer by suppressing occurrence of flow resistance of working fluid during compression stroke of a lock cylinder. SOLUTION: A piston 1 of the lock cylinder comprises a main body 1a partitioning an extension side chamber R1 and a pressure side chamber R2, a cylinder part 1b vertically provided from the main body 1a, a land 1g provided to the cylinder part 1b and brought into slide contact with a cylinder 31, a groove 1c partitioned between the main body 1a and the land 1g to be opened and closed by a communicating hole 31a, a passage formed in the cylinder part 1b to communicate the groove 1c with the pressure side chamber R2.
