摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rudder surface abnormality detector with sufficient accuracy which automatically detects the difference between displacements on both sides of a rudder surface and responds to the full stroke. SOLUTION: Both sides of a rudder surface 10 are connected to an actuator 11 and an actuator 12 provided on a main wing via a drive shaft, and the rudder surface 10 is protruded or retracted. One end of each of cables 17a and 20a is fixed to both sides of the rudder surface 10, and the cables 17a and 20a are wound around cable winding pulleys 17 and 20 via blocks 17b and 20b. The rotation of an output shaft of the cable winding pulleys 17 and 20 is input in gears 19 and 22 of a differential gear part 26 via differential gear inputs 18 and 21, and transmitted to pinions 23 and 23a to obtain the differential gear output 24. The output is detected by a detector 25, and the difference between right and left displacements of movement of the rudder surface 10 is automatically detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
