PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seated load detector for suppressing the generation of strain of a vehicle seat and correctly detecting a load thereon. SOLUTION: An upper rail 6 and a lower rail 7 are connected to each other by a supporting member 11, a load sensor member 12, and a cylindrical rod 14. The load sensor member 12 comprises a strain element 17, a first holding part 18 and a second holding part 19, and a detection element affixed to the strain element. The strain element 17 is held by the first holding part 18 at one end and held by the second holding part 19 at the other end. The second holding part 19 comprises a holding plate 22 and an adjustment bed 23. A rod 14 connects lower arms 7 to each other, and the rod 14 and the adjustment bed 23 are welded and fixed to each other in a final stage of an assembly step. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
