PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely determine water leakage in a route of washing water in a dish washer. SOLUTION: In this dish washer, when the water level in a washing water tank becomes under a designated water level during the supply of washing water to a washing nozzle by a washing pump, the supply of the washing water is once stopped in a step 120. When the water level in the washing water tank becomes higher than the designated water level within the designated time after the above stop according to the determination in a step 124, the supply of the washing water is restarted, and when the state where the water level in the washing water tank is lower than the designated water level continues more than the designated time, the occurrence of water leakage in the route of the washing water is determined. When the presence of water leakage is determined, the water leakage is informed by a warning device and a water leakage lamp in the step 126.
