<p>The structure to bridge the expansion joint between upper bridge sections has a drain channel (40) at the first bridge section (60), with a relative movement against the other bridge section (62). The channel has a side wall (82), with the drain channel (30) of the second bridge section against it. When the joint (58) is open through expansion, the wall springs out to project against the second bridge section. The joint bridge structure is under the bridge roadway or rail track, to one side of the joint strips along the bridge.</p> |
