The system is for the aperture (1) of a container with closure unit (31). A sealing ring (18) between container and closure unit engages on radial walls (11a,b) around the aperture and a wall (8) of the unit. The wall has a part (16) projecting towards the sealing ring, and the ring engages below the part when in locking position, and above it when in open position. The sealing ring is elastic and is deformed by pneumatic pressure. For at least short periods, the pressure is e.g. a suction pressure to lift the sealing ring off the opposite wall. The ring is connected to an excess pressure source and a suction pressure source.
