PURPOSE: A system and a method for converting and transmitting E-mail into a voice message are provided to improve a user's convenience by synthesizing text-based E-mail into a voice signal containing background music and sending it to a receiver's portable phone in the form of a voice message. CONSTITUTION: A provider server part(30) is connected between the Internet(1), to which a plurality of user computers(10) are connected, and a mobile communication network(2), to which a plurality of mobile terminals are connected. The provider server part(30) is comprised of an Internet access part, a web server, a TTS server, a mobile communication network access part, a VMS(Voice Message Service) server, an SMS(Short Message Service) server, a message storage part, and a file server. The provider server part(30) modulates and synthesizes the text-based E-mail inputted from a user computer(10) into a voice signal containing the background music selected by the user and transmits it through the mobile communication network(2) in the form of a voice message. |
