<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGM reproduction system capable of controlling a BGM player depending on circumstances and according to a schedule of the installation destination of the BGM player although the BGM reproduction system is standardized by the same program. <P>SOLUTION: In the BGM reproduction system 10 in which the BGM player 16 having received electronic mail 24 from a data transmission device 14 downloads contents from a contents server 28 on the basis of an identifier described in the electronic mail 24 and executes a reproducing program described in the electronic mail 24 to reproduce the downloaded contents, the BGM player 16 is provided with a means of executing arbitrary contents different from the contents specified by the reproducing program at specified time by initiating interruption during the reproduction of the contents based upon the reproducing program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
