<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer composition which possesses elasticity and flexibility like a rubber, together with good moldability like a resin, realizes a high electrical conductivity, and is excellent in moldability and to provide an electroconductive roller desirably used as e.g. a drive roller of an electrophotographic mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The electroconductive roller is made by using the electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer composition which comprises (A) a thermoplastic elastomer composition prepared by dispersing through dynamic crosslinking a crosslinkable rubber and/or a crosslinkable thermoplastic elastomer in a thermoplastic resin and/or a thermoplastic elastomer, (B) an ionically conductive conductivity enhancing agent containing a polyether-containing block copolymer resin and a metal salt, and (C) carbon black and has a compression set of 40% or lower (70°C x 22 hr) and a volume resistivity of 10<SP>8</SP>Ω cm or lower (as measured at 1,000 V). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
