<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity connection type travelling-wave tube capable of attenuating an electromagnetic wave in an unnecessary frequency band, capable of reliably suppressing oscillation, and capable of stably working. <P>SOLUTION: Cavities 4 are formed in a multistage state. A slow-wave circuit to amplify a microwave by mutually acting with an electron beam radiated from an electron gun is formed. In at least one of the cavities 4 formed in the multistage state, one or two or more auxiliary cavities 4a-4c are continuously provided on the inner wall of that cavity 4, and distribution attenuators 10, 10a and 10b are inserted in auxiliary cavities. The auxiliary cavities 4a-4c at least two of which are formed in the slow-wave circuit 8 are formed by tow or more kinds of the auxiliary cavities having different cavity volumes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
