PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera by which camera shake is effectively reduced by referring to a reliable camera shake determination result and release time lag is not prolonged. SOLUTION: A camera comprises: a release operation means 14; a camera shake determination means 6; an exposure control means 4 conducting control different from ordinary exposure control after determining the camera shake; a control means 1 operating the camera shake determination means 6 before and after release operation; and a reliability determination means 1 determining reliability by the camera shake determination means 6 after release operation. The exposure control means 4 conducts exposure control by referring to the camera shape determination result after release operation when the high reliability is determined by the reliability determination means 1 and conducts exposure control by referring to the camera shake determination result before the release operation when the low reliability is determined.
