PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damper having equivalent efficiency to a semiactive type damper without a controller or the like. SOLUTION: A piston 5 is movably provided in a main cylinder 3. A piston rod 7 is provided on one surface of the piston 5. A first oil chamber 9 and a second oil chamber 11 are formed by the piston 5.A relief valve 15, a check valve 17 and an orifice 19 are provided in the piston 5. A sub cylinder 31 is provided outside of the main cylinder 3 and a second piston 35 is provided in the sub cylinder 31. The second piston 35 is interlocked with the piston 5. An open and close valve 25 is provided in a flow passage 23 connecting the first oil chamber 9 and the second oil chamber 11. A fourth chamber 36 of the sub cylinder 31 is connected with the first accumulator 21 via the check valve 43 and to the open and close valve 25 via the check valve 53. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
