PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a voltage of high resolution at a high response speed by generating two PWM waveforms and coupling them. SOLUTION: Two PWM signal generating units are provided. Based on the digital data divided into a high order and a low order, each generates a PWM waveform separately. The two PWM signals are weighted and added at a voltage output unit, for an output voltage. Thus, a voltage of high resolution is generated at a high response speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
