PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing method and an image display method by which an operator edits a plurality of editable input images while watching the images on a display device. SOLUTION: A plurality of images are read, index display of the read images is performed on the display device and when a series of images in the index display of the images are vertically inverted, the series of images are vertically inverted and then displayed by one time of input.
