PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal noise eliminator with less noise output when a muting operation is executed. SOLUTION: The audio signal noise eliminator is provided with a muting signal generation section 16, a prestage muting section 11 which executes muting according to a muting coefficient, a delay section 13 which outputs the output of the prestage muting section 11 by delaying it by a prescribed time, a poststage muting section 15 which executes the muting according to the muting coefficient and a coefficient generation section 21 which generates the muting coefficient according to output of a muting signal generation section 19 and provides the muting coefficient to the prestage muting section 11 and the poststage muting section 15, the prestage muting section 11 immediately stops output of an audio signal at start of the muting and executes fade-in by gradually increasing the output after termination of the muting and the poststage muting section executes fade-out by gradually reducing the output after the start of muting.
