PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mounting ring from relaxation and incomplete mounting ring in the mounting structure of a bayonet system lens. SOLUTION: A projection type display is configured to mount a lens main body on a lens seat by fastening a bayonet system between a bayonet ring having a pawl mounted on the lens body at its outer periphery and the mounting ring rotatably mounted on the lens seat and is provided with a lens cover for protecting the lens main body. The lens cover is provided with a first rib for preventing the mounting ring from rotation in the relaxed direction, and a second rib for preventing the lens cover from mounting when the mounting ring is incompletely fastened.
