PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of increasing defrosting capacity while inhibiting cold air blow to interior in reverse cycle defrosting of an outdoor heat exchanger and capable of ventilating interior as needed basis. SOLUTION: In reverse cycle defrosting of the outdoor heat exchanger 23, an indoor fan 7 is stopped and a ventilation fan 10 is operated to suck indoor air, sucked air is discharged outdoor by the ventilation fan 10 through an indoor heat exchanger 6.
