PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, enabling a game player to grasp notification of sound information to use a specified function exerting an influence on ball detecting operation. SOLUTION: A main control part 200 starts an open extension function exerting an influence on the detecting operation of a pattern start detecting switch 341 until a designated end condition is satisfied after the end of a large role generation. By the drive of voice synthesis LSI462 of the main control part 200, BGM (sound information) different from the preceding one is released from the time when the detecting operation of the pattern start detecting switch 341 is permitted until the detecting operation is actually performed. Accordingly, the game player grasps notification of BGM and shoots a game ball to use the open extension function exerting influence upon the ball detecting operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
