ARRANGEMENT OF A BONNET ON A VEHICLE

The invention relates to an arrangement of a bonnet on a vehicle, comprising at least one hinge element which is used to pivot the bonnet in such a way as to be able to open and close the same normally, and at least one bonnet lock which is used to lock the bonnet in the closed position. Said arrangement also comprises a lifting device which lifts the bonnet out of the closed position if a sensor device detects a collision of the vehicle with a pedestrian or a cyclist. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple arrangement of a bonnet on a vehicle, which protects pedestrians or cyclists in the event of a collision with the vehicle. To this end, the inventive arrangement is provided with a device which unlocks the bonnet lock (5), if the vehicle collides with a pedestrian or a cyclist, before the bonnet (1) is lifted.
