RECORDING DISPLAY MEDIUM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording display medium enabling uniform clear display by holding the thickness of a liquid crystal layer constant and preventing a deviation in the thickness of the liquid crystal layer and liquid crystal compound concentration (colored state) due to fluidity of a liquid crystal compound.

SOLUTION: In the recording display medium having a base material 1, a liquid crystal layer 3 containing a cholesteric liquid crystal compound on the base material 1, a protection layer 4 on the liquid crystal layer 3, and a partition wall 2 between the base material 1 and the protection layer 4, the height of the partition wall 2 is larger than the thickness of the liquid crystal layer 3.
