<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone replacement material with which a favorable osteogenic property can be obtained by obtaining a favorable pore characteristic; and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: For the bone replacement material comprising a calcium phosphate porous material, a calcium phosphate slurry which is prepared to have a desired concentration is expanded by adding a foaming agent. At the same time, an organic porous element having continuous fine air spaces is impregnated with the expanded slurry containing 0.1 to 5 wt.% of a fine powder comprising a thermoplastic resin having a size of 0.1 to 100 μm. After the organic porous element impregnated with the expanded slurry is dried, the organic porous element is resolve-extinguished by heating, and the bone replacement material is manufactured by sintering the remaining calcium phosphate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
