<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) terminating device that simultaneously connects a PC and a different H.323 terminal to the Internet by using one IP address. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a LAN side communication network transmitting/receiving part 11, a WAN side communication network transmitting/receiving part 12, a PPPoE analyzing part 13 for analyzing a PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protcol over Ethernet) packet in received data, a PPP analyzing part 14 for analyzing a PPP packet, a VoIP analyzing part 15 for determining whether an IP packet is a VoIP packet, a PPP server 17 for terminating a PPP link, a PPPoE server 16 for terminating a PPPoE session, and a session information management table 18 for managing PPPoE session information and PPP link information. A first IP communication connection request is connected to a WAN side IP device, and a second H.323 communication connection request is terminated. H.323 communication connection is established with a WAN side VoIP telephone set to perform H. 323 communications between the LAN side and the WAN side VoIP telephone set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
