<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load detecting sensor easy to be assembled having required detection accuracy and durability, and offering excellent comfortableness, and to provide a seat for a vehicle incorporating it. <P>SOLUTION: In this flexible film-like load detecting sensor having a plurality of pressure sensor cells incorporated in a seat for a vehicle, and for detecting passengers seated on the seat, a slit whose one end is opened is formed between an area corresponding to the top-plate part of the seat and an area corresponding to the bank part of the seat.
