<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for roughening a resin sheet excellent in mechanical properties, dimensional stability, heat resistance, flame retardancy, etc., and capable of having a reduced thickness to give a roughened sheet on the surface of which metallic wirings can be formed with excellent bonding strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method is one for roughening the surface of the resin sheet containing 100 pts. wt. at least one member selected from the group consisting of a thermosetting resin, a photocurable resin, a cured resin, and a thermoplastic resin and 0.1-100 pts. wt. philo-silicate and performs the roughening by allowing an oxidizing agent to act on the surface of the resin sheet in a state swollen with an organic solvent by using a phase transfer catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
