PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a porous cured matter having minute open pores out of a W/O type water-based dispersion wherein water particles are dispersed evenly in a liquid radical polymerization type thermosetting resin. SOLUTION: A preform of the W/O water-based dispersion wherein water is dispersed evenly in the form of particles in the radical polymerization type thermosetting resin is set in a state of being made to float and suspended in water.
