PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct ROM data after manufacture without causing decreases in the number of usable interrupts and the operating speed of a CPU. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment has inside a CPU core a command correcting circuit having a storage element in which a corrected address, a corrected command, and a corrected permission, related to information stored in a fixed storage medium, are written and retained during initialization of the electronic equipment; a comparator for comparing a command address output from the command prefetch stage of the CPU core to the corrected address retained in the storage element; and a selector for selectively outputting either the command code read from the fixed storage element or the corrected command retained in the storage element, based on the result of comparison by the comparator.
