PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminescent agent of long duration in the radiation of infrared ray of 4-5μm, in a case when a combustion gas is observed from a direction just behind a nozzle, in a composition composed of an oxidant including an oxygen component and a fuel including a carbon component, and including a metallic fuel as an auxiliary fuel. SOLUTION: In this luminescent agent used in a flying luminescent device released for self-defence when an infrared ray induction flying object comes, a composition composed of a solid system having a combustible compound/or mixture including the oxygen component and carbon component as its main component, and including the metallic fuel as the auxiliary fuel in the solid system, is used, and a particle size of the metallic fuel is 4μm or less.
