PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protective material relaxing sliding resistance of a boss part and a shaft part of a cap, suppressing generation of wear and wear powder and having excellent maintainability. SOLUTION: This cable protective material 10 is constituted into a bendable chain shape as a whole by successively connecting a plurality of unit blocks 20 formed into each of hollow shapes and stores a cable at the inside. The cable protective material 10 is provided with a bush part 32b formed at one connecting part in the unit blocks 20 and having at least a part of an inner peripheral surface formed into a circular arc shape and an axis located in a direction orthogonally crossed with the bending direction of the protective material 10, the boss part 32a formed at the other connecting part in the unit blocks 20, slidably fitted into an inner peripheral surface of the the bush part 32b and having at least a part formed into a circular ring-shape, a circular-ring shaped lubricating member 70 made of a material having lubricity and slidably fitted into an inner peripheral surface of the boss part 32a, and the caps 60 mounted on the unit blocks 20 and projectingly provided with shaft parts 61 slidably inserted into an inner peripheral surface of the lubricating member 70.
