PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical blind for preventing looseness of an operation cord laid in a head rail. SOLUTION: One end of the operation cord 18 is connected to the forefront carrier 12A in the head rail 10. The other end of the operation cord 18 is conducted up to one end part of the head rail 10, and is introduced into the head rail 10 by turning after being suspended from the one end part, and is also connected to the forefront carrier 12A by turning after being conducted up to the other end part of the head rail 10. A part suspended from the one end part of the head rail 10 of the operation cord 18 becomes an operation part 18a, and the forefront carrier 12A and a succeeding carrier 12 can move along the head rail 10 by operating the operation part 18a. A cord weight 30 is installed in the operation part 18a, and a turning part of the operation cord 18 of the operation part 18a inserts the cord weight 30. A stopper 26b is arranged on an operation bar 26 for regulating an upward movement of the cord weight 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
