A two-layer floor composition with an upper layer which is self-flowing before setting, shows a maximum shrinkage on drying and hardening of less than 0.5 (preferably less than 0.25) mm/m, contains a binder based on calcium sulfate, cement, magnesium oxide, mastic asphalt and/or bitumen and is reinforced with fibers, fabric, metal mesh and/or steel wire. Composition floor with lower (A) and upper (B) layers, in which the upper layer (a) is self-flowing in the unhardened state, (b) shows a maximum shrinkage of less than 0.5 (preferably less than 0.25) mm/m on drying and hardening, (c) contains a binder based on calcium sulfate, cement, magnesium oxide, mastic asphalt and/or bitumen and (d) is reinforced with fibers, non-woven or woven fabric, fiber bundles, metal mesh and/or steel wire. Independent claims are also included for (i) a composition for the production of the upper layer, which is miscible with water to give a homogeneous, self-flowing mixture with the properties listed above; (ii) a method for the production of a floor as above by first applying a lower layer containing lightweight aggregate, drying this layer and then applying the upper layer as above. |
