<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a solar battery element irradiated sufficiently with external light, and to brightly illuminate the whole display member such as a pointer. <P>SOLUTION: A fine uneven part 23 is formed in an under face of a transparent dial 6 arranged in an under side of the pointer 14, the solar battery element 7 is arranged in an under side of the dial 6, and a luminescent element 9 is arranged in a side part of the dial 6. The solar battery element 7 is irradiated sufficiently with the external light because the external light is transmitted through the dial 6 in a bright site, the solar battery element 7 generates thereby electric power favorably and the luminescent element 9 gets luminous freely when desired, by electricity generated by the solar battery element 7. The dial 6 gets surface-luminescent because light emitted from the luminescent element 9 is diffused and reflected by the fine uneven part 23 of the dial 6 while guided into an inside of the dial 6 to outgo from an upper face of the dial 6, and the whole dial 6 and the whole pointer 14 are thereby illuminated brightly even in a dark site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
