<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-deck elevator capable of providing excellent riding comfort by suppressing the occurrence of noises irrespective of a clearance at a car intermediate part varying by an inter-floor adjustment in the double-deck elevator in which an inter-floor adjusting mechanism is adopted. <P>SOLUTION: Air straightening devices 28, 29, and 38 closing the clearance between an upper car 3 and a lower car 4 by displacing in a lifting direction according to the displacement of the clearance between the upper car 3 and the lower car 4 by the adjustment of the clearance are disposed between the upper car 3 and the lower car 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
