PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balanced output type audio signal output apparatus which is not damaged even when connected with a three-terminal headphone. SOLUTION: The balanced output type audio signal output apparatus is provided with an operational amplifier 1 for outputting an input signal S<SB>L</SB>after applying non-inverted amplification thereto, an operational amplifier 2 for outputting the input signal S<SB>L</SB>after applying inverted amplification thereto, an operational amplifier 3 for outputting an input signal S<SB>R</SB>after applying non-inverted amplification thereto, and an operational amplifier 4 for outputting the input signal S<SB>R</SB>after applying inverted amplification thereto, and the operational amplifier 2 and an inverse phase output terminal 10 are connected via a resistor R1 whose resistance value is equal to that of a voice coil resistance component R4 of the headphone, and the operational amplifier 4 and an inverse phase output terminal 12 are connected via a resistor R2 whose resistance value is equal to that of a voice coil resistance component R4 of the headphone.
