PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copy guard system that enables a user having production facilities to manufacture a regular CDs without depending on a physical copy guard technology which is a load on the hardware for the multisession compact disks recorded with contents, such as computer software. SOLUTION: The recorded content can be carried out by verifying whether or not the binary data of the 9th byte of the CO pointer column is "95" in the TOC data at the Lead-in area of the first session and only when this verification is acceptable.
