PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an image forming device and to improve image quality. SOLUTION: The developer contains at least a resin, coloring agent and release agent and the ratio of the amount of the release agent to that of the coloring matter is 0.3 to 10.0. When continuous printing is performed in this case, good images are obtained and consequently, the image quality can be improved. Also, there is no need for replenishing oil, such as silicone oil, and therefore the image forming device can be downsized and the cost of the image forming device can be reduced.
