PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an execution man-hour and a cost in executing a perpendicular light duct at a building-site, and enable easy securing of parallelism of an opposed light duct face easily. SOLUTION: A light duct panel 2 truncated to a prescribed length beforehand is wound in a coil state so that a reflecting face comes to the inner side as shown in (a), and one side end of a light duct panel is mounted on the bottom end of a wall face 1 by a mounting fittings 4, or it is retained by a hand or other means. Then, by hanging it by a string or the like, while the light duct panel 2 wound in the coil state is being return-wound, it is slowly lifted upward. When the other side end of the light duct panel 2 reaches the upper end of a wall face, the light duct panel 2 is fixed by the wall face as shown in (b). A mechanism giving a tensional force to the light duct panel 2 is installed at the mounting fittings 3 or 4, and by this, warping or slack of the light duct panel is eliminated.
