PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to briefly know contents of a content without performing checking operations for a sequence of contents upon receiving a notification of receiving the content. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a reception means for receiving an information signal, a reception information analyzing means for analyzing contents of information indicated by the received information signal upon receiving the information signal at the reception means, an animation creation means 3 for creating animated data indicating the contents of the received information signal analyzed by the reception information analyzing means, and a display section 4 for displaying the created animated data.
