PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of operation for feeding sheets while separating one by one from a plurality of stacked sheets in a recording device. SOLUTION: The sheets are separated one by one by using a sucking mechanism for a sheet separating and feeding part. The possibility of secular changes such the wear of rollers, production of paper dust, and the like can be eliminated, and the reliability of operation and the durability can be remarkably increased.
