A roof fitting or enhancing a flat roof has a triangular support frame (4) fastened onto the roof using metal brackets (8) and other supports and covered with wooden rafters (5). The metal support frame is made of Z-profile metal strips joined with threaded fasteners or by bending. The wooden covering frame is similarly fastened to the metal frame with threaded fasteners. The roof fitting has a selected pitch and is assembled from modules.
